A lace tea cosy with knitted flowers and leaves on top. The back, front and flower-decorations are knitted separately, then assembled at the end.

Two 50g balls of the recommended yarn make the body of the cosy, then scraps are needed to make the decorative flowers. There is no tension given, and there is no stitch diagram or chart.

Additional materials:
Scraps of leaf-green and flower-coloured DK yarn for the flowers.
Three bee-shaped buttons for decoration

Please note: this is a different pattern from the following:
Spring Tea Cosy by Val Pierce (which has a decorative bottom edge)
Tea Cosy by Dorothy Wood (which appeared in the accompanying Knit Today magazine, issue 45).
