One of the pattern stitches itself creates the twist so this sock looks more complicated than it is.
The Broad Spiral rib stitch gives a cable look with no cable needle required.
These two pattern stitches ( 4 row patterns) are used with the twisted cable moving down to become part of both the heel flap and the top of the sock design. The tonal shading of the yarn gives added interest.
A fun sock with lots of movement and color complexity yet simple to knit!
