This is ideal for the festive season to wear over an evening dress for a night out .. i chose to knit mine in a rustic red colour which looks lovely with a black dress ..
It is knit in five separate square pieces .. these are sewn together with the squares positioned with cables alternatively horizontal and vertical.
I have used a large sized kilt pin to fasten mine but a brooch would also look nice.
