Knit the braided collar in the same color as the rest of the sweater, as we did, or make it in a contrasting color to create the illusion of a separate scarf.

TENSION/GAUGE:

• 22 sts = 10cm 4”; 30 rows = 10cm 4” in Reverse Stockinette stitch using smaller needles.
• 15 sts = 10cm 4”; 20 rows = 10cm 4” in Reverse Stockinette stitch using 2 strands of yarn held together and larger needles.
• 15 sts = 6.5cm 2½”; 20 rows = 10cm 4” in Cable stitch using 2 strands of yarn held together and larger needles.

CHECK YOUR TENSION/GAUGE. Use any size needles to obtain the tension/gauge.
