This sock design was inspired by Lady Edith from the TV series Downton Abbey. The stranded design represents her life of privilege and title, whereas, the simple structure and main color of the sock represents her desire for an ordinary/simpler life.

The pattern is written for one size but can easily be adjusted by adding extra stitches and rows. Please keep in mind though that the Fair Isle chart is a ten stitch repeat. If casting on a different amount of stitches you will want to keep your cast on number to one divisible by 10 or be prepared to increase or decrease to a number divisible by ten for the stranded sections.

A huge thank you goes out to my test knitters!
