Lady Suffragette is the March KAL on the Criminal Knits group. link text The pattern will go on sale Feb. 20th. The KAL will start on March 6th and will run for 4 weeks, but like all our KALs there is no end date, so join in whenever!

This lovely feminine pattern can be worked as a ponchette or a shawlette and is both written and charted. The perfect accessory for spring, she is a lovely mixture of stockinette and lace.

You will need:
1 100 gram skein of Wolle’s Color Changing Cotton OR
480 yds of a tonal or solid in your favorite fingering weight yarn.
No variegates!

Size 5 16” circular needles or size 5 dpn’s (needed for c/o and the first few rows only)

Size 6 24” & 40” circular needles for the body.

Please note: Lady Suffragette is not intended to be a full size poncho or shawl. She measures approx. 12 - 14” in height x 120” in circumference. Size will depend on how tightly you knit and how ruthlessly you block her!

The shawlette lends itself beautifully to a shawl pin.

Gauge: 6 stitches to the inch in stockinette
