“I don’t know why we bother with corsets. Men don’t wear them, and they look perfectly normal in their clothes.” – Lady Sybil from Downton Abbey

In my second Downton Abbey-inspired pattern celebrates the free-spirited sister who defies all expectations.

Unconventional structure and elements are just what Lady Sybil is all about. Knitted from cuff down, the sock is worked in both flat and round knitting. The heel is worked in afterthought-heel, make this project a quick and small project for the warm weather season. Perhaps an early holiday gift for the return of Downton Abbey later this year?
