Originally published by Minerva, 1928. Some light-worsted or DK yarns will achieve correct gauge; if not, try a standard worsted-weight yarn. This design is similar to those offered in knitting magazines and books in the past couple of decades, except in its construction. When the garment is finished, there are only two side and two sleeve seams to sew. The decorative bow and contrast color border around the neck are worked in duplicate stitch after the sweater is finished. The book’s editors have updated the sizing from the original pattern and added two extra sizes.
