To get the best result, make sure you are knitting on small enough needles… the fabric needs to be dense to prevent show-through of floats. Be consistent - always bring the color you are about to use under the color you were just using. Don’t leave floats over 3 stitches long. Use one strand each of MC and CC1, but for flower centers use a different length of yarn for each flower.
