Tweed yarn adds a special dimension that takes this throw from an ordinary, uninspired piece of knitting to an extraordinary work of art. The four corners frame the throw with applied leaf shapes.

To make this an easier project, color-photocopy the charts. Then tape them together to create the whole picture. Keeping track of rows is essential for this project, so mark off the rows as you work them. Also, choose smaller sections to work in duplicate stitch rather than working all colors in the intarsia method.

Pattern calls for 19 colors total, 5 skeins of MC and 1 skein of the rest.
