The Story of the Lakeside Cape
I love the way a blanket feels on chilly summer nights wrapped around your body keeping you warm while your face feels the fresh breeze and the occasional spray from the waves off the lake. You find yourself sitting on a Muskoka chair that needs to be re-stained but you never seem to find the time for it, but that may just be because you love the soft colour of the bare wood. The Lakeside cape gives you the feeling of that blanket and the broken rib a reminder of the churning waves.

Being made from a worsted weight yarn there is some weight to the cape which makes it cozy. Even though it takes 6 to 7 skeins it works up quickly and the instructions never leave you wondering what to do next, they are very clear and professionally edited. You will not be disappointed in the quality of this pattern.
