Utterly simple garter stitch pairs perfectly with slipped stitch mosaic patterning for the perfect beach-side project. The narrow asymmetrical shape lends itself perfectly to a variety of lightweight styling options, especially considering the endless colour combinations that are possible!

This shawlette (or scarf) is worked sideways. Because of the construction, the shaping is narrow and asymmetrical, and curls at the end. See the schematic for measurement reference when blocking. The scarf may be slightly smaller than the finished measurements after blocking.

The Diagonal Colour Pattern is both written (see Stitch Instructions) and charted (see page 3) for your preference.
