The Cardigan sure will be a wardrobes’ favorite. It’s a classical style which works out in a lot of different yarns; wool, wool-blends, as well as cotton- or linen-yarns. It’s easy to combine and works for indoor and outdoor as well. The pockets are a must have.
The cardigan is worked seamlessly top down in 2x2 rib pattern. Start at the top and work raglan / yoke increases as well as increases for the front neckline shape at the same time. Separate
Body and sleeves by putting sleeve stitches on separate holder, continue the body including setup for pockets. Now sleeves are worked in rounds. You pick up stiches for the button bands and
work it in stockinette stitch. The pocket bags are worked with an afterthought pocket technique (photos are shown).

Pattern is testknit approved!
