Honeycomb is one of my favorite simple cables. This is one of two Honeycomb scarf patterns I have enjoyed designing. This is a larger Honeycomb cable that is done over 12 stitches. The center honeycomb panel is framed by a twisted rib. It gives a lot of texture and depth to the colorful Peace Fleece yarn. This pattern repeats every twelve rows. It is easy to memorize and (I think) a good project for someone who is new to cables.

Any worsted, aran or bulky weight yarn can be substituted.. A size 8 needle could also be used and the scarf would be a little wider.
