Here is a lovely crochet pattern for a warm convertible cowl.
You can wear the cowl like a normal cowl, but you can also wear it as a hood.

The pattern is suitable for everyone, there are no difficult stitches you’ll need to master, and it’s very easy and fun to make.

The pattern comes with a lot of high resolution photos, and a detailed description to guide you through it.

--> You’ll need about 250 meters or 275 yards of yarn to make this hooded cowl, and a 10.00mm crochet needle.

--> The large button used in the cowl is optional, in the pattern is another method described to get the same result without using one. But if you want to include a button, you’ll need one that’s about 1” in diameter. (Or bigger, if you prefer.)

--> This pattern is an other version of the original black & grey Large Hooded Cowl. If you want to order the original pattern, please click here:

In this pattern, there’s clearly explained how I made the stripes on the red part of the cowl, and what you need to do to get the same result.
