This pattern was devised to give my beginner knitters a simple and funky scarf that would be ready for Christmas.

The key component for these scarves are some really nice buttons.

Gauge will depend on which yarn you are using. This pattern uses only 1 ball of yarn.

Measurements: Depending on your gauge the width should be about 7 inches but could be up to 8. The scarf knit in Cloud is approximately 31 inches long (this is using a 9mm needle) and the Scarf knit in the chunky tweed is 34 inches long approximately.What I hve noticed is the longer scarf seems to suit men a little better and the shorter scarf is favoured by women.
