Lätt som en plätt translates to piece of cake (literally easy as small pancake) from Swedish and refers to the difficulty of the pattern. A novel, visual way of pattern writing concept is presented, with instructions summarised in tables to facilitate the overview.

The cowl is knitted in the round and lightly flared to follow the true shape of the neckline and drape nicely.

A simple eyelet pattern (knit two together and yarn over) alternates with stockinette stitch (knit). However, enough details for a nice finish are included and a curious beginner can try some new techniques.

The pattern prevents color pooling in hand dyed yarns through changes in the number of stitches per row.

Adult sizes available are S (short, 30 cm) and L (long, 38 cm) measured from the cowl’s upper – and most narrow – edge to the lower edge.
