In fact, this pattern won 1st prize in a 1997 afghan motif design contest, and it’s sure to be a winning addition to your home decor. It is crocheted using medium weight yarn and a size H (5.00 mm) hook. The design is worked in strips; then, the strips are woven into squares that are bordered and whipstitched together.
