Laurel is a fun and whimsical beret pattern with berry-like bobbles and leaf-shaped cables. The hat can be blocked for either a beret shape or a simpler beanie shape, based on the use of style-specific blocking techniques (listed at the end of the pattern). Smooth, multiple-ply yarns are the ideal choice for making the textural motifs pop. “I love the sense of nostalgia heralded by cable & bobble patterns,” says designer Jared Flood. Laurel will add a playful addition to your fall and winter wardrobe.
