Laurel is a feminine, light and lacy cardigan with a slightly flared fit and elbow length sleeves to wear in warm weather or as an elegant topper. The 7-stitch, 4-row lace pattern is easy and quick to knit in fingering weight yarn. The lace is worked flat on circular needles from hem to armholes, then divided for front and back stockinette sections. All shaping is done on right side stockinette rows. Finishing is simplified with your choice of a minimal 3-row knitted edging or one row of single crochet. A pretty focal point button provides the finishing touch. Laurel won a ribbon for lace garment at the 2012 New Mexico State Fair.

Lace pattern stitch instructions are provided in both written and chart form.
