The Laurel Collection: Laurel Sweater

This is the third design out of a collection of six. This collection celebrates the beauty of femininity by providing modern aesthetic with lace and cables.

Materials: Red Umbrella Yarns Victoria - Worsted 4 (5, 6, 7, and 7) skeins of 218 yards each or 872 (872, 1090, 1308 and 1308) yards
Needle Size: US 6 - 4.0 mm and US 8 - 5.0 mm (24, 32, or 40 inch circular needles)
Gauge: 18 stitches and 22 rows = 4 inches in stockinette knit in round on larger needles

This sweater is knit completely in the round, only separating the body to knit the hem. It is a top-down sweater, using a modified contiguous method for shoulder and sleeve shaping. The lace and cable pattern is featured on the back of the sweater. The back is also slightly longer than the front. The sample shown was knitted in the S size. This pattern is written for S (M, L, XL, and XXL) to fit bust measurement of 33 (37, 41, 45, and 49) inches. The finished sweater is meant to be worn with one inch negative ease.
