The leaning trees are iconic images from the world around us here on the West Coast. They also exist in the art of those from around the Great Lakes of Eastern Canada, primarily the work of the Group of Seven, including such artists as Lauren Harris and F.H. Varley.

There is only one size of slouchy. The ribbing is quite stretchy and will fit most heads and the slouchy shape of the hat is quite full. The body of the slouchy consists of 8 panels, 2 of the leaning tree leaning right and two of the leaning tree leaning left, each of these panels separated by a stripes and waves panel.

Gauge for Slouchy is 24 sts to 4 inches in stranded pattern.
