Laurentian is an elegant yet easy to wear cardigan with a fun drop stitch pattern and pretty picot edging. The ribbed back and sleeves are worked seamlessly from the top down, and ensure a comfortable, tidy fit across the shoulders. Short rows shape the curved back hem before stitches are picked up for the collar. The garter and drop stitch collar is knit in the round, and forms overlapping fronts that are wonderful open and draped, or closed with a pin.

For the best fit, have someone measure you across the back while holding the tape measure centered under each armpit. Pick the Back Width that is closest to this measurement, rounding down as the the ribbed fabric will stretch readily. Note that your back size may be several sizes smaller than your “To Fit Bust” measurement, depending on your shape. Shown in back size 19.75” / 49cm, to fit bust 39” / 99cm.
