One of two designs in the second collection of sock patterns based on the Classical Elements, the Lava Flow socks are easily memorized, making for a portable, easy sock project. Inspired by the movement of lava across the earth, these socks will work well in either a multicolored sock yarn or a more solid sock yarn.

This collection also includes the Fireside socks, a more complex design. Both designs are knit from the top down and all stitch patterns are available in charted and written form.
