Zig-zag cable panels add a bit of interest to this sporty zip-front cardigan with raglan sleeves.

Lava Rock begins with the sleeves, which are worked to the underarm and put on holders. The body is worked in one piece to the underarm with shaping worked along the sides of the zig-zag panels. Sleeves and body are joined together and worked up to the neck. The collar is shaped with short rows.

A mix of Stockinette stitch and cables highlights the beautiful color variations in Rios, a hand-dyed worsted weight yarn. The resulting fabric is dense and warm, making Lava Rock a cozy cover-up perfect to wear with jeans.

It is intended to be worn with 0-2” positive ease. Shown with 0” ease. Stitch pattern is written and charted. Pattern includes a tutorial for sewing in the zipper.
