Originally designed for our intarsia knitting workshop. This little Lavender House Scented Sachet is such fun to knit and takes up so little yarn, it’s a perfect stash buster! The pattern is charted and written, the door of the house is knitted using the intarsia technique. The chart can also be used as an intarsia chart using the house as a motif, or several houses could be turned into a cot mobile. The possibilities are endless!
Using any D.K. yarn and 4mm knitting needles, you will also require some absorbent fabric for the interior. We used a cutting from our fabric tablecloth undercover (Don’t tell the DH!!) and squirted some lavender oil onto the fabric. You’ll also need a tapestry needle and small bits of yarn to embroider the flowers and leaves onto the house after it is stitched together. Great air freshners for the room and lovely little gifts!
