Yarn Requirements:
1 x 100g ball in main colour
1 x 100g ball in secondary colour.

You will only use a little of the secondary colour, so if you buy two complete balls, why not make a second hat but reversing the colours?

This hat is knitted on straight needles and seamed at the back using mattress stitch. A stitch at either end has been included as a seam allowance.

When knitting the patterned band, carry the yarn across the back as you work, as if doing fair-isle.
