Description
The sweater is knitted in the round, top down, with raglan shaping. The bottom edge has “stripes” of alternating stockinette stitch and reverse stockinette stitch, forming 3-dimensional welts. An i-cord is used to gather up the welts into soft folds at each side and is tied in a bow. The i-cord is easily removed if not wanted. (This welted design feature helps disguise an imperfect tummy area.)

The body is knitted in a “broken rib” pattern. Its texture adds interest and its stretchiness ensures a smooth fit.
Waist shaping adds a graceful look. The sleeves also feature the striped welts. The neckline and sleeve edges are trimmed with a delicate picot edging, adding a touch of elegance to this pretty, easy-to-wear top.
Note: You can easily customize the sleeve length and total length to your taste.

Pattern has been test-knitted and tech-edited, to give you a pleasurable knitting experience.
