Designed by myself for my daughter’s 2nd birthday, this little bear is sure delight children:) ‘Lazy Maisie Down in the Daisies’ to give her full title (!) is approximately 17 inches high and is dressed in lacy smock top, pantaloons, matching shoes and even has a little daisy flower tucked in her ear! She is reminiscent of heirloom or antique bears in that she has a more traditional shape than many modern day bears.

Maisie is one of life’s daydreamers and likes nothing better than spending her time sitting in the sunshine, admiring the daisies and making daisy chains for her friends.Unfortunatley, she often loses track of time and this has meant she has been late completing chores, doing her homework etc and this has earned her the title of ‘ Lazy Maisie!’

She is fully jointed, but she can be sewn instead if you prefer. The pattern includes instructions for both.

The pattern includes instructions for Maisie herself plus her outfit and is more of a tutorial than a pattern with its detail. It includes photographs, diagram, 2 different ways of putting the bear together, different ways of completing her facial features and is 23 pages long, to give you an idea of the level of information within it.

She is made in Uk / light worsterd weight yarn but could be made in any weight yarn , adjusting the hook so stitches are tight so fibrefill does not show.

Available in Uk or US crochet terms.
