This is the cutest little pattern for a knit bonnet and sweater for 7.5” Ideal Little Betsy Wetsy, my design.

Little Betsy Wetsy will love to play outside with Auntie Cissy in her cozy sweater and bonnet.

A few yarns have been listed, but you can use any fingering weight yarn. The pattern uses approximately 1/3 of a ball of Knit Picks Palette.

I highly recommend Palette yarn because it was the type of 100% wool yarn used in the 1950s. Babies wore pretty much any color during that era. Palette particularly lends itself to this project because of the warmth of the colorways, also typical of that time period.

This pattern can be made by a beginner with a little supervision, or self taught with the wonders of youtube.com or a good instruction book.

I don’t mind if you make items to sell from this pattern. Please do not transmit the pattern electronically or resell it.
