This Shawlette is so named because I made it over a weekend, starting late Friday afternoon and completing it on Sunday afternoon! It is knitted on 4.5 mm needles using 4 ply/sockweight yarn – the colour here is my Hippy Chick a rainbow coloured yarn. The lace pattern stitchwork is loosely based on some of the shapes used in Estonian Lacework. It is crescent shaped and sits beautifully on the shoulders or cane be worn as a fichou type collar or scarf. Blocking the finished object is essential to get it to the necessary size.

Wingtip to Wingtip the Le Weekend measure 42 inches.
