Using this pattern you will work an attractive triangular shawl with an illusion leaf image that is viewable from an angle.

Yarn:
Choose smooth yarn of lace or fingering weight with wool, semi-wool or semi-cotton fiber content that is elastic enough for garter stitch (a garter fabric doesn’t stretch out after washing).

Yardage:
You will need yarn in two contrast colors, approximately 200-220 g each.

Needles:
Choose needles smaller than the needle range recommended for your yarn

Gauge:
Pattern gauge is not important.

Sample Details:
The sample was worked with Dundaga 6/1 and US 2.5 (3 mm) needles.
The sample width along the top side is 145 cm (57”).
The sample length at a center spine is 80 cm (31.5”).
Yardage: 170 g of white and rainbow colors each.

Other Tools:
Tapestry needle, scissors, stitch markers.
