Looking for a fashionable poncho that works up quickly? This poncho is for everyone that loves greenery and growing plants. This Leafy Greenery lace poncho is elegant and fun to make.

This pattern works up quickly and uses simple knit lace stitches such as k, p and yo. The pattern includes both written instructions and charted instructions and includes a schematic of how to put it together.

The needles are large for the yarn to add to the lacy effect. This poncho with the V-neck will fit most people. I had a tester that used a much larger yarn (Aran weight) and a smaller needle to get the gauge that is required. It worked up beautifully.

Skill Level: Ambitious lace beginner, Intermediate.

This pattern is worked in 2 lace rectangular panels. You will need a tapestry needle to seam the two panels together. The panels need to be twice as long as they are wide.

What a great way to take the chill off the evenings or morning air.

You will need 614 yards (562.m) of yarn to make this poncho
