Pattern Description from Cast On, November 2009-January 2010: “Hats are a great way to try new techniques or just to take a break between larger projects. This hat utilizes the fun technique of stranding yarns to achieve a two color design. If you’re new to stranding or are designing a stranded sweater, practice first by making a hat! Their small size makes them a perfect take along project as well, and everyone loves receiving a hat as a gift.”
