This sock pattern includes both cuff-down and toe-up instructions. Front and back of leg feature a baby-leaf pattern in the center with symmetrical winding vines on either side, which are created with twisted stitches. Lace pattern is both written and charted.

Red sock shown was knit toe-up using Knit One Crochet Too Ty-Dy Socks in color #1272 Berries on U.S. size 1 (2.25mm) needles. Toe-up version features gusset increases on the bottom of the foot and a slip-stitch heel. Use Judy’s Magic Cast On or any toe-up cast on of your choice (instructions on how to do the cast on are not included in the pattern).

Green sock shown was knit cuff-down using Lang Yarns Jawoll Superwash in color #98 Grapeleaf on U.S. size 1 (2.25mm) needles. Cuff-down version features a slip-stitch heel worked in the round in combination with gusset increases, so there is no need for picking up stitches along the sides. Pattern includes instructions for kitchener stitch to finish cuff-down sock toes.
