These lace socks will cover your feet with a garland of leaves! They can be adapted to any foot length. They have a heel flap, a wide toe and are knit cuff down. Construction instructions are written, the lace pattern is both written and charted. There are 2 charts included so you can make a mirrored pair of socks.

Skill level: intermediate.

Techniques: knit/purl in the round and flat, lace, picking up stitches, short rows, grafting.

Yarn: 400-450 yards of fingering weight sock yarn.
Sample knitted in Wendy Happy (75% bamboo/25% nylon) - 458 yards - 1 skein

Gauge:
Size small / medium: 36 stitches x 48 rows = 4” in stockinette - size US 1 / 2.25 mm needles
Size medium / large: 32 stitches x 44 rows = 4” in stockinette - size US 2 / 2.75 mm needles

Tools: Size US 1 / 2.25 mm or US 2 / 2.75 mm set of 5 DPNs or long circular needle for magic loop (or size to get gauge); tapestry needle; scissors; 2 stitch markers.

Note that the lace pattern is pretty stretchy!
