Beyond the Pattern…While at the TKGA conference in New Hampshire last summer I fell in love with the hand dyed yarns of Miss Babs. Sock yarn intriguingly named “Frogbelly” caught my eye. The color reminded me of the color of spring leaves. Perusing “Beautiful Knitting Patterns” by Gisela Klöpper, I found the perfect stitch pattern for the socks. I worked up a pair for a friend’s birthday but I decided to change the stitch pattern a bit to outline the leaves a bit more.
