Welcome to the 20in20 ebook! This collection is carefully curated to use those gorgeous skeins that are languishing in your stash, waiting for the perfect project. Each project uses approximately 100g of yarn, and are in a variety of yarn weights. Patterns will be released every 2-3 weeks and you can expect a variety of accessory patterns including hats, cowls, mitts and even a shawl or two! Follow along on Instagram for a sneak peek of upcoming designs!

I struggle getting rid of leftovers that are more than a couple yards long. Even though I know I probably won’t ever use them, I keep them anyway “just in case”. This cowl pattern is a way to use up those bits and make a cozy winter cowl! This pattern is different from other leftover patterns because you strand all of the yarns together and knit them on gigantic needles! It’s super fun to combine colors, and also incredibly quick to knit! Also, it’s both reversible and non directional, so you can grab it on the way out the door without worrying which way to put it on!

Yarn
Approximately 70 yards of each yarn used. Try using one super bulky strand, like sample 1, or many strands like samples 2 and 3.

  • Sample 1: One strand of Knit Collage Castaway. The thick and thin texture of the yarn stands alone and it creates a light but warm cowl!
  • Sample 2: Three strands of tonal cream and beige make a sophisticated color palette that matches everything!
  • Sample 3: Five strands of various types of yarn in a teal, mint, grey and cream color palette. The result is tweedy and the additional strands make it a little heavier and warmer that the previous versions.
