I selected 400 grams of blues/purples out of my leftovers and set out to make this faroese shawl. I alternated sections of stockinette and garter stitch to give it some additional interest, but you could just as easily do the whole shawl in garter.

After weaving in the ends I dyed it a darker blue/purple for a less chaotic look. I used Jacquard dyes, to get the color I used sapphire blue, crimson, and black. This is a trial and error type of thing for me, I used small color amounts to begin with to see how much I would need to get the effect I wanted. Whatever dyeing method you choose, please follow all the safety precautions and instructions closely!

Please let me know if you run into any errors or find anything confusing in this pattern, I am happy to answer questions about the pattern!
