The Leif Hat pattern is a surprisingly easy-to-knit hat using classic stranding colorwork techniques to create a beautiful leaf motif in the round. Starkly contrasting colors make the Leif pattern stand out among the crowd of falling leaves. Consider using autumnal shades of orange, brown, red or a classic green pallet to create a festive hat for the season.

Size: Adult (20”).
NOTE: To create a smaller sized hat, use a worsted weight yarn instead of chunky/bulky. Your gauge will be naturally tighter.

Yarn: 1 skein each of 2 contrasting colors of Berroco Vintage Chunky, or any yarn necessary to obtain desired gauge.

Gauge: 4 sts = 1” in stockinette colorwork in the round.

Needles: Size US #7 and US #9, or any needles necessary to obtain desired gauge.

Other Materials: Stitch marker, darning needle.
