This pattern is a PDF, written in English for intermediate knitters knitting flat on two needles.

The lemur is one of my most complicated patterns. To get the authentic 13 stripes, you’ll need to do the tail in circular knitting with a pin-hole cast-on and jogless joins. (I explain how to do these and the video tutorial will help a lot.)

You need to have…
• Yarn in desired color(s) and weight (~3oz/50g for sport weight; ~12oz/350g for worsted)
• Yellow contrast yarn for eyes
• Straight and circular knitting needles at least 2 sizes smaller than those recommended for the yarn being used
• Stuffing
• Tapestry needle
• Crochet hook for fringe stitch

You need to know (or learn)…
• Stockinette stitch
• Increases and decreases
• Mattress stitch for seams
• Fringe stitch
• Color change techniques
• Pin-hole cast-on
