Crochet SLOTH pattern by NansyOops

Sehr geehrte Kunden,

The pattern contains of 18 pages of instructional material accompanied by 100 photos + links to technique videos.

Basic crochet skills are a prerequisite.
The pattern is available in English (US terms) and German.
Crochet level: intermediate and above.

Special techniques used are needle-felting (for facial features, may be substituted with painted facial features ans crocheted nose) and polymer clay molding (for claws, may be substituted with wire-and-thread claws).

To crochet the sloth softie, you will need:

• brown yarn (I used Troitsk Yarn Deluxe, Color Willow, yardage 400 m / 100 g [438 yds / 3.5 oz])
• white yarn for the muzzle (I used Troitsk Yarn Deluxe for this)
• glass eyes for toys, diameter 6 mm [0.25 in]
• small amount of brown and white crochet thread (for embroidering eyeballs and eyebrows), sturdy thread or floss for shape cinching
• crochet hook 1.5 mm [US steel hook 8]
• Thin brown felting wool (for felting on the muzzle and nose). If desired, can be substituted with toning, using oil or dry pastel chalk.
• to substitute a crocheted nose not requiring any felting: thin brown crochet thread (such as Iris by Gamma, yardage 87 m / 10 g [95 yds / 0.35 oz])
• triangular felting needle #38, dishwashing sponge or remnant of foam rubber
• polymer modeling clay (baking clay) in color beige for the claws
• wire, diameter 0.3 mm (copper, brass or other – sufficiently hard) for the limbs
• sewing needle with large eye for sewing parts together
• Glue gel, “Moment” brand super glue
• sewing pins, stitch marker, paper clip or short piece of contrasting color yarn to mark the beginning of the round
• stuffing (polyester fiberfil)
• flat nose pliers, round nose pliers, small pincers (for stuffing)

From my side, these patterns are enabled for “printing with high resolution” and “printing with low resolution”. If you want to work from a printed copy, you need to have access to a printer. Should you not own a printer and need to print in a public facility, such as copy shop or library, you need to follow the rules established by that entity. I as the designer can not be held responsible for any restrictions a third-party provider places on printing services rendered by them.
Likewise, my digital downloads do not include an option to have the file printed out at my expense and mailed to you through international postal service channels.
Please either make other arrangements to have the file printed at a friends’ house, workplace, or consider purchasing your own printer.
