“Leoch” is a slightly asymmetric triangular shawl, worked from one tip to a fun loopy i-cord bind off edge and decorated with playful tassels. A combination of an interesting textured pattern, adapted from a stitch pattern from one of Barbara Walker’s books, in conjunction with your good old friend garter stitch, will keep you interested while also providing stretches of relaxing in-between knitting where you can let your mind wander.

An ideal vacation project: Concentrate on the lace sections in the comforts of your quarters in the evenings or before your family gets up in the morning, and take the garter stitch parts to the beach or a cafe - you’ll be done in no time and will have something new to wear on the flight back!

The sample was made in hand dyed Tweed by new Polish yarnie Nellie’s Fibers.
