A cowl is an ideal project for small amounts of luxury yarn, or perhaps for handspun, as even wimple/smoke ring length requires no more than about 330 meters of yarn.

The Less is More Cowl is a variation of the simple tube, featuring a spiraling lace pattern that incorporates light shaping. The spiral gradually narrows upwards, making the cowl settle better on the shoulders. The pattern is well suited for semi-solid or variegated yarns.

This pattern is worked in the round on circular needles. The spiral lace pattern is thoroughly charted
