Let's Do the Charleston
Let’s Do the Charleston was to wear with a 1920’s style dress to a wedding. I researched the various shawl types from that era. Most had fringe or long ornate beaded edges.
Knit top down in a crescent shape, the shawl is patterned on both RS and WS rows. Beads are always optional but most people who know me know I love my bling!!
Charts only. Medium difficulty.
The instructions will guide you through knitting a Small, Medium or Large size shawl with three Edging bind off options.
Please see the projects attached to the pattern page for ideas.
You can use anything from lace to fingering weight for this shawl.
I absolutely love the softness and weight of my second prototype.
Enjoy!
