Meet Lewiston, a dog named for the city in Maine that was devastated by a mass shooting on a Wednesday in October, 2023. This dog is a symbol of love and hope as Goldens have such loving dispositions and the city of Lewiston needs that love right now. I’d like to hope this is the last event of its kind but… The hat starts with a simple rolled rim, a few rows of rib, a simple all over grid pattern and one beautiful Golden. The dog can be left out and the hat knit simply with the all over grid pattern. Thirty-three duplicate stitches with scrap yarn complete the pup.

This hat is worked in Malabrigo Rios worsted in 5 sizes to fit Newborn through XLarge heads. ANY WORSTED WEIGHT YARN THAT MEETS GAUGE WILL WORK. Large shown in photos. Always choose size based on finished circumference.
