Liam is the eldest of the eejit brothers, he is the protector. My first memories of Liam were laying outside on a summers eve and he taught me about shooting stars. He also taught me how to climb trees, scale walls and to sail.
T’was when I was in my teens that Liam became my friend as we share a passion for sailing. I was 24 when he became my inspiration on how to be a doctor. When I was 30 he taught me how to be a myself, how to learn that i was just as important as it was to please as my parents. And when I was 32 he taught me how to grieve. To do so with dignity and without anger. I am the Dr. I am because I have great examples on how to leave your ego at home, and never forget
it is not about you and that God guides your hands, this I get from my brothers, but the ability to keep going when you think you can’t, I get from Liam. But the thing Liam has
taught me more than anything is home is just a hug away. These are for Liam.
