Flower power and Liberty were originally inspired on a early morning summer dog walk along the banks of the West Lyn river, we walked through a small meadow on the hillside by the river full of sparkling cobwebs, fairy’s (my children’s name for dandelion & rose bay willow herb seeds) floating in the air and summer flowers glistening in the morning sun. It was one of those magical moments in time.

I designed the 2 blankets as a pair, this is the second blanket, it is a direct contrast to Flower Power its inspired by subtle elegant liberty fabric.
My aunty Pat loves liberty fabric, she has large stash and has always used it to make a lot of her clothes, I can’t see Liberty fabric without thinking of Pat.
