This scarf was named after two building in the Philadelphia that were for a long time the tallest and second tallest buildings in in city called Liberty Place One and Liberty Place Two, respectively. I personally have always called these two the brother buildings and grew up loving the chevrons of these two skyscrapers. The chevrons of this pattern mimic them.

The pattern can be extended to your hearts content, though it’s been written in the pattern for a cowl version and an infinity scarf version. The yardages for each are as follows:

100 Yards per color for the Cowl version.
200 yards per color for the infinity scarf version.
Each chevron takes about 33 yards of yarn per color to complete so if you’d like to add some more length that should help figure out how much more yarn you’ll need.
