Libra Moon, Libra Rising aka Carla’s Birthday Socks

In honour of True North Yarn’s favourite HR consultant Carla’s birthday, here are a perfect pair of cuff-down socks to compliment your favourite pair of yarn colours.

These socks were designed with Full Moon Fibres’s Lucky 50/50 Sock Sets in mind - each set comes with two 50g mini-skeins of their Solar Sock base. We found that there was enough yarn in the set to make one full-length pair, or three ankle-length socks.
This is also a good opportunity to use up any leftovers or odd 50g balls of fingering weight sock yarn you may have as well!

The Lucky 50/50 Set used for the pair of socks pictured was in the colour combination Lite Brite Red & Coveralls, as chosen by Carla.

Sizes Included: XS (S, M, L, XL)
Finished Foot circumference: 6 (7, 8, 9, 10) inches / 15 (18, 20, 23, 25.5) cm
Finished Length: customizable for both leg and foot

We used 2.25mm/US1 needles - use your needle size of choice that will get you a gauge of 32 stitches to 10cm/4” in stockinette stitch. This sock pattern is designed to be knit in the round - you could use magic loop, DPNs, 9”circulars, the two-circular method, whatever works best for you!
